He works at the frontier between artificial intelligence and neuroscience. His research in computational psychiatry turns language, brain signals and behavior into digital markers for better diagnosis and treatment, built on data from Latin American populations and designed for health systems with limited resources. He founded the Applied Artificial Intelligence Lab at the University of Buenos Aires, now one of the leading applied AI centers in Latin America, and co-founded Entelai, the first company in the region to achieve regulatory approval for AI diagnostic support.
